Coire Lagan: Sgurr Dearg and Sgurr Mhic Choinnich.
Note the stone chutes on the scree slopes: on the left leading to the Bealach Coire Lagan (en route to Sgur Mhic Choinnich), and on the right the Great Stone Chute leading to Sgurr Alasdair.
Climbing the stone chutes is very much a case of one step backward for every two steps forward. Descending is a different story, and it is very difficult to stop once you have started. On the Great Stone Chute, it feels as if the entire mountainside is collapsing underneath you. It's great fun, but great care is required.
